At Kaiser Permanente Information Technology, each of these integrated systems and innovative platforms stands to shape the future of health care. And they're all developed, implemented, and supported by our 6,000 IT professionals. It's the people in our IT department who continually define—and redefine—the role technology plays in health. From creating mobile apps and online health management tools to maintaining one of the leading electronic health record systems in the world, we believe in investing in technology that will make lives better. It's a commitment that has driven Computerworld to again rank us among the 100 best places to work in IT.
