Providing medical care for approximately 105,000 members, Kaiser Permanente Ohio operates 30 medical offices in a nine-county area, including the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Our Emergency Department and Clinical Decision Unit expansion at Cleveland Heights Medical Center is the largest construction project that Kaiser Permanente has undertaken east of the Mississippi and represents a major investment in the Ohio Region and the members we serve. Kaiser Permanente Ohio ranks among the nation's top 20 Medicare plans and top 40 commercial health plans according to the National Committee for Quality Assurance (2012), and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced that Kaiser Permanente Ohio's Medicare Health plan earned 5 stars, the highest overall rating for quality and service in the state and across the nation.
