Description:
Under general supervision, safely and responsibly drives the MAS Region Mobile Health Vehicle to and from its home location to a wide variety of locations throughout the Region. Assumes responsibility for monitoring and ensuring maintenance and service needs are met of the vehicle. Performs proper set-up and breakdown of vehicle to service patients. Provides general reception of members and non-members.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Drives the mobile health vehicle to events, sets-up, tear down after event and returns vehicle to designated facility at end of event.
  • Operates onboard generator, septic (Using PPE) and power, any and all electronic equipment, such as computer, printer, iPhone and iPad.
  • Ensures proper/timely scheduled maintenance of vehicle, including maintenance tracking.
  • Maintains and checks vehicle equipment for malfunction and/or damage.
  • Is responsible for inventory of RV includes electronic assets, equipment, supplies and other items associated with the RV.
  • Interacts with members/patients to check in members and non-members (KMAT pre-enrollment).
  • Answers and returns telephone calls and messages.
  • Provides excellent customer service-patients, employers, and staff.
  • Monitors the workflow as each new arrival is checked in. This includes: sign-in sheet, vaccine information sheets, privacy documentation and immunization. Exhibits strong interpersonal skills. Stocks and supplies medical office materials. Cleans and organizes vehicle. Fills and empties water/waste tanks. Travels within MAS Region, including overnight stays. Performs other duties as required.

  • Basic Qualifications:
    Experience
  • Minimum one (1) year of recent experience in a customer service.
  • Education
  • High School Diploma OR General Education Development (GED) required.
  • License, Certification, Registration
  • A valid Class B driver's license required, with air brake endorsement.

  • Additional Requirements:
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Medical clearance as required by the Department of Transportation.
  • Knowledge of computer software applications required.
  • Starting and end times may vary.
  • This person will be working with the Mobile Health Vehicle team and will require routine travel to employer sites and community locations throughout region.

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Medical terminology Bilingual, English and Spanish.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware.
  • CPR.
