This position is responsible for managing internal and external tools and resources for conducting timely analysis of identified or emerging threats and risks confronting the organization. Responsible for assessing and managing data collection processes and procedures, packaging and performing credible analytics on data from the Regions, identifying national trends, and National Security Services risk predictive reporting.
Responsibilities include overseeing existing security system information database tools and assisting the department with developing open source information collection opportunities and enhancing inter-governmental agency information-sharing and liaison activity.
The purpose of this function is to collect, evaluate, distill, and disseminate credible information and actionable intelligence for identifying threats or potential threats confronting the Program. This position is responsible for coordinating and disseminating raw intelligence information reports and determining appropriate dissemination to the internal stakeholder departments (Legal, Risk, Operations, HR, SIU, Employee Relations, service-line deliverers, etc.). Responsibility also includes creating products - written and graphic -- derived from multiple sources that are aligned with understanding or mitigating specific and relevant risks that might disrupt or degrade the ability to deliver high quality healthcare. Products will have an orientation to either inform or gain a decision.
The person selected for this role will be part of a multi-analyst team and will be cross-trained in other analytic focus areas (crime, operations, and financial). The role includes supporting Risk Assessment Teams, Investigation & Loss Prevention efforts, and Threat Management Programs at national, regional, and local levels.
Develop and execute a comprehensive open-source collection plan based on Priority Information Requirements (PIR) to subsequently enable analysis, production, and dissemination of products that contribute to mitigation of reasonably foreseeable risks and effective decision-making.Establish indications & warnings to enable recognition of changes to standing threat levels and associated preparations. Develop criteria for events which trigger immediate notifications and mitigation. Recognize when to disseminate raw intelligence information reports to various stakeholders (Legal, Risk, Operations, HR, Employee Relations, SIU, service-line deliverers, etc.) based on a detailed understanding of mission, risk, probability, and potential impact.Support national, regional, and local Threat Management teams with preparedness tools to see, understand, and monitor recurring threats. Build a social media monitoring program to support indications & warning for steady-state threats and as an instrument for dynamic/emerging threat use cases. Contribute to personal protection plans stemming from TROs and other risk-identifying programs. Focus: prevent workplace violence.In collaboration with other members of the Analytics Team, create analytic products and graphics to support development of the following programs: Executive Protection, Enterprise Security Risk Management, Training, Risk Assessments, Access Control Self-Audits, Technical Security Repair & Maintenance, and Incident Reporting / Measurement / Executive Dashboarding.Support Investigations & Loss Prevention with analytic tools and event reconstruction products which support Investigators. Partners with Supply Chain to develop screening protocols to identify purchasing and inventory irregularities that lead to measurable reduction of loss. Focus: investigations closed favorably; restitution; recovery; theft reduction; employee surety; integrity.Contribute dynamically to establishing and maintaining the department Risk Heat Map and produce products in alignment with PIR and risk exposures after determining audience, frequency, and intent.Represent National Security Services with other intelligence and law enforcement organizations in formal interagency committees, conferences, task forces, and work groups -- potentially gaining insights which would contribute to changing site security postures and benefitting from Best Practices.
ExperienceMinimum five (5) years of intelligence/risk gathering and analysis experience within a major corporation and/or law enforcement, intelligence, military, or private sector security organization.
EducationBachelor's degree in Homeland Security, Analysis, Research, Statistics or related field required.
