Job Number: 804935 Date posted: 08/06/2019
Description:
You will join a highly successful Program Management Office (PMO) that supports the Promoting Interoperability Program at Kaiser Permanente. Promoting Interoperability was formerly known as -Meaningful Use-, and we are charged with meeting the requirements of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) most visible incentive/penalty program. The program-s original aim, starting in 2010, was to promote the implementation and meaningful use of electronic health records using certified technology such as KP HealthConnect. The program has evolved over the last 9 years to promoting improved sharing of data (interoperability) between providers across the nation and increased access for patients to their own key health information. The PMO is part of the National Quality organization and works with teams from each region to successfully attest to CMS that we have met all Promoting Interoperability requirements. The PMO partners with regional physician leaders, KPIT, analytics, legal, government relations, compliance, and finance groups. We ensure that the regions- attestations stand up to audit scrutiny. We provide more than just subject matter expertise and governance, we are true implementation partners. We take the lead in monitoring changes coming from federal legislation and regulation, and in responding to requests for information and proposed rules so that we can help mold the future program.

As a high-level individual contributor in the group, the senior consultant will serve as the main consultant on many of the objectives and measures of the program.
