Description: Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control. Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.

Essential Functions:
  • Establishes operational objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments to subordinate managers/individual contributors.
  • Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
  • Participates in the long-term strategic planning and direction setting of the function.
  • Develops and establishes operational policies within area managed.
  • Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have KP-wide effect.
  • Participates in the development of overall functional objectives and KP goals.

  • Basic Qualifications:
    Experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of management experience.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of related experience.
    Education
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
    License, Certification, Registration
  • N/A

    Additional Requirements:
  • Requires advanced knowledge of own area of functional responsibility and working knowledge of multiple related functions.
  • Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

  • Proven ability to develop performance reporting capabilities and make data-based decisions. Experience implementing tools and processes to improve management capabilities and results.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to clearly articulate goals and expectations to staff at all levels of the organization and with diverse constituency groups.

  • Thorough knowledge of cost management techniques, financial control, financial analysis, financial modeling and reporting.
