Business Consultant/Analyst Senior

Description: National Facilities Services (NFS) manages the design, construction and maintenance of a significant portfolio of large and small-scale projects/buildings.
The Metrics and Analytics Center, otherwise known as MAC team, is a new data analytics center. Primary role of this team is to manage all data warehouse repositories and to oversee end-to-end process in the development of business tools, reports, metrics, and analyses that drive key business decisions and to support business operations This team also coordinates and collaborates effort with all stakeholders to gather report requirements and provide reporting solutions.
The primary responsibility for this position is to manage data warehouse structure and associated data repositories for all business requirements. Experience in working with different datasets of different sizes and shape and be able to extract data effectively and efficiently are required for this position.
Essential Functions:
  • Work with source matter experts to understand application data structures and data flows between systems to build new or enhance existing automation for data gathering processes.

  • Develop plan to ensure data warehouse structures and associated data repositories satisfactorily meet business requirements.

  • Develop and maintain documentation related to data collection process, data mapping, and report logic for all reporting requirements.

  • Drive collection of new data and refine process, and integrate existing data sources.

  • Receive and respond to data requests from other team MAC member to ensure reports in queue are accurately designed and prioritized.

  • Gather, extract, manipulate, analyze and reconcile data from various environments to support development of reports and ad-hoc analysis by utilizing SQL or other business intelligence tools.

  • Ensure reports are scheduled, audited, and delivered according to established schedule

  • Work closely with Application Developer for other business applications to resolve data related issues

  • Demonstrate problem solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with others to resolve issues.

  • Perform special requests, projects, and other tasks as assigned.

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience, to include a minimum two (2) years in a consulting role.
  • Bachelor's degree in business/health care administration or related discipline OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
    License, Certification, Registration

    Additional Requirements:
  • Identifies and documents cross-functional and/or cross-divisional, functional requirements, workflow, information sources and distribution paths, and system/process specifications.
  • Thorough knowledge of platforms of the assigned functional area.
  • Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business/health care administration or related discipline.
  • Certification or advanced qualification by third party association that matches the function or field applicable to the business discipline preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take all assignments to completion

  • Proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of SQL environment is required.

  • Experience in Table Analytics is preferred

  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge including Power BI is required.
