- Minimum four (4) years of experience in employee benefits field with broad exposure to design, compliance, and administration of a range of benefits plans (e.g., pension, health, disability).
- Bachelor's degree in human resources required, OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

- Understanding of a range of benefit programs, such as pension, health, disability, etc.
- Knowledge of benefits related regulations and laws (i.e., ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, TRA, HIPAA, etc.).

- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Strong writing skills.
- Innovative and flexible.
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines.

- Possesses interpersonal skills that inspire trust and confidence.
- Understands team dynamics.
- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
