As an Application Systems Analyst Programmer II, you will support, maintain, and troubleshoot Imaging, Pathology and Dictation systems within the WA Market. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working with other teams/departments to resolve issues, propose mitigation strategies, and escalate when appropriate to solution and engagement. As a team member you are expected to partake in end-user ONCALL support, interpret system requirements for Clinical business requests, become a subject matter expert for assigned applications and perform duties independently, with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be able to complete assignments in an accurate and timely manner demonstrating their ability to establish and adhere to realistic timelines.

Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify complex information systems. Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written or modified. Design, code, test, debug, document and maintain programs. Work on most phases of applications systems analysis and programming.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Performs analysis, designing, coding, testing, documenting, implementing and maintenance tasks for complex requests and project impacts.

  • Completes assignments in an accurate and timely manner. Maintains and reports status on assigned tasks on a regular basis. Performs related duties as assigned or requested.

  • May rotate on-call coverage with other team members. Troubleshoots and resolves production problems. Documents and communicates problem resolution to team members.

  • Participates on project teams with business users and other analyst/programmers. Assists in problem definition and resolution activities. May assist in developing solution outlines.

  • Interacts with customers to clarify and interpret system requirements.  Implements solutions for defined problems.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Minimum two (2) years of experience using and maintaining applications software.

  • Education

  • Bachelor's degree OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.

  • High School Diploma OR General Education Development (GED) is required.

  • License, Certification, Registration

  • Additional Requirements:

  • Understanding of computer programming languages and system design concepts.

  • Logic and analytical ability.

  • Interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of specific application and system experience.

  • Experience programming, developing and maintaining applications software.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or Business, and specialized training.

  • Knowledge of the application or business area, and skills in the specific technical environment, languages, and tools to be used.
