Assist Sales and Marketing staff in the achievement of targeted membership growth and retention. Serve as systems liaison for the business line for Lotus Notes and other applications. Process daily orders and provide support in the preparation of information to prospective accounts and timely responses to inquiries.**




Essential Responsibilities:

  • Orders renewal quotes, finalizes group renewals and orders collateral material, as specified by Account Manager in order to provide timely renewal and renewal data to client groups. Provides responsive, accurate, timely and cordial customer service via phone, email and written correspondence to group and broker clients and members. Systems liaison for the business line for Lotus Notes. Provides training to staff on Lotus processes & procedures. Represents business line needs to Lotus developers and in Lotus user group meetings. Key contact for all system related work. Coordinates monitors and provides data clean up and resolution of system issues, as needed.   
  • Processes daily orders in relationship to deadlines including keying orders, assembling & distribution of enrollment & member publications. May assist in the enrollment of new group sales.   
  • Maintains Account files according to department and OIC standards, culls and archives outdated information on an annual basis.
  • Provides administrative support in managing existing accounts with renewal & daily inquiry responses.    
  • Performs other duties as assigned including copy center & print shop liaison, filing and providing support services.

    Education

  • Associate's degree OR two (2) years of experience in a directly related field.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
    License, Certification, Registration

  • Must obtain Life & Disability Agent's license within six (6) months of accepting position, and renew per OIC regulations.    


    Additional Requirements:

  • Attention to detail, organization, prioritization and problem solving skills.


    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workers' Compensation claims adjusting experience.
  • Experience in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Two (2) years of medical insurance plan experience in department with marketing-related functions.    
  • Working knowledge of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington services and procedures and thorough knowledge of business line processes and Lotus Notes, RIX application and Web Editor.    
  • Communication and training skills.
  • Computer skills in a Windows environment and MS Office Suite.
