Compliance and Regulatory Support Analyst

Description:
Under general supervision, responsible for organizing, managing and trending project and operational data for the Compliance and Regulatory Support Department. Provides technical and analytical assistance on projects and for investigations and serves as a key resource for the entire compliance team.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains compliance monitoring and reporting information related to compliance objectives. Works in collaboration with compliance department staff and data systems administrators to compile and maintain information, and prepare reports and dashboards for trending compliance results, monitoring effectiveness of controls, tracking policy and procedure development, and training. Provides support for compliance risk assessments, plan development, profile tracking and workplan initiatives.

  • Assists in providing input on and tracking of status of policies related to compliance areas and prepares Compliance Education materials, including materials posted to the website. May serve as webmaster.

  • Serves as department resource for creating process flow charts; organizational charts and other graphical charting or formatting; assists with developing visual systems and preparation of other presentation or education materials.

  • Prepares information to be communicated to divisional and departmental leaders and/or posted on the Compliance website and on-line shared files.


  • ** MUST HAVE CREDENTIALING AND/OR HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE IN PRIVILEGES AND COMPLIANCE.APPLICANT MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH CREATING AND MAINTAINING HOSPITAL AND OR ASC PRIVILEGE SETS.PREFER CREDENTIALING CERTIFICATION.


    Basic Qualifications:

    Experience

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working with health care and/or health plan data and data management.

  • Education

  • Bachelor's degree OR a minimum four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.

  • High School Diploma OR General Education Development (GED) is required.

  • License, Certification, Registration

  • N/A



  • Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge of managing health care and/or health plan data, including analyzing and reporting trends.

  • PC proficiency with Windows based software; MS Office Suite products with proficiency in Access, MS Project.

  • Excellent skills with data analysis and presentation with Excel Pivot tables, Publisher, Visio presentations and graphic statistical displays.

  • Excellent communication skills; critical thinking/decision-making skills.



  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience in health care and/or health plan regulatory or contract requirements, including performance factors evaluated by regulatory or customers.

  • Knowledge or experience with Compliance Data System tracking software.

  • Knowledge of health care and/or health plan functions, enrollment data, claims data, and other data generated by health plans or health care providers organizations.
