Description:
The Project Manager serves as central point of contact between the client, strategy partners, and execution teams involved in delivering on a given project. Responsibilities include: Assessing client requests and refining based on resource capacity, deadlines and budget. Serving as manager over a defined scope of the collateral budget and associated work output. Overseeing and ensure that the work meets KFHPW requirements, state and federal regulations, translation requirements, 508-compliance, and NCQA requirements. Manage the visibility of the work and alignment of expectations for all stakeholders throughout the project. Anticipate client needs and propose solutions and ideas proactively. Maintain knowledge of current industry trends concerning assigned clients. Additional requirements include having a general enthusiasm for your work and an inquisitiveness into the work of our division and the organization. You will also be a champion of organizational priorities and be skilled at adjusting work plans and projects to align to changes in priority and support continuous improvement by identifying issues and recommending changes. The successful Marketing Consultant will represent an enterprise perspective in large cross functional meetings and have experience with organizing the project kick offs, manage delivery schedules, and will document all critical information and tracking milestones in workflow management system. You will seek opportunities for collaboration with other product area point people in the division to leverage work and ensure coordinated efforts and consistent messaging.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project definition and workflow Assess client request and project needs; assess whether regulatory agency directives apply; kick off work with creative team; define scope, deliverables, timing and budget. Ensure that projects track up to overarching business line standard work budget. Coordinate with internal business processes related to Marketing Consultant projects. Manage schedules. Document all critical information and track milestones in workflow management system. Oversee and ensure that the work meets state and federal regulations, translation requirements, 508-compliance, and NCQA requirements. Complete vendor work authorizations and change orders. Create and manage master work plans to provide visibility into work for other departments and senior leaders.  Serve as important point of collaboration between client, marketing, and other departments.
  • Ensure campaign objectives are met Provide input for creative brief. Review and provide feedback on creative deliverables to align projects with business objectives and budget parameters, in consultation with creative leadership, creative standards as appropriate for target audience. Synthesize client and stakeholder comments into concrete direction, making critical judgment calls as necessary. Serve as primary resource for creative team to move work forward. Provide final sign-off prior to publication and hold primary accountability for accuracy of final project.
  • Foster client relationships and serve as business area expertEstablish and foster relationships with assigned clients, building trust and facilitating smooth and timely exchanges. Serve as marketing department's content area expert for assigned products / business areas. Anticipate client needs and propose solutions and ideas proactively. Maintain knowledge of current industry trends concerning assigned clients.
  • Support overarching organizational goals Recalibrate work plans and projects to align with changing organizational priorities and dynamic corporate landscape. Collaborate with other product area point people in the department to leverage work and ensure coordinated efforts and consistent messaging. Support continuous improvement by identifying issues and recommending changes. Represent our division or clients as needed in large cross functional meetings.
  • Basic Qualifications:
    Experience
  • Minimum five (5) years of account management or project management experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience working in a marketing organization or agency environment.
  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in English, communications, business or related field OR four (4) years of directly related experience required.
  • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • License, Certification, Registration
  • N/A

  • Additional Requirements:
  • Experience with full spectrum of media: print, web, email, social, broadcast.
  • Understanding of web and print design and production basics.
  • Familiarity with a workflow management system (Working knowledge is a plus).
  • Knowledge of print production, digital, and web workflow.
  • Writing and editing skills.
  • Comfort with complex database systems.
  • Ability to serve as a consultant to internal clients and stakeholders; and determine needs versus desires and gain agreement on the deliverables.

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Seven (7) years of experience working in a marketing organization or agency environment.
  • Seven (7) years of account management or project management experience.
  • Experience managing projects in a Workamajig project management system.
