Provide leadership with preparing and analyzing financial plans, forecasts, and reports. Perform complex financial models for decision making purposes. Act as the financial laision/consultant to various business units within the organization. Lead work on regional or enterprise-wide projects. Interact with senior leaders and take responsbility for assignments with large financial impact. Receives general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion. Performs work with minimal direction and exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Errors or failures may results in significant expenditure of company resources.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects and strategic plan. Initiate, design and complete complex analyses used by customers to make tactical and strategic decisions. Independently gather, manipulate and analyze data. Present information in a broad range of formats to small or large audiences.

  • Regularly contributes to the development of new job practices, techniques, standards, principles, and concepts. Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation

  • Tracks financial status by monitoring variances from plan. Determines financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results. Improves financial status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions.

  • Performs work with minimal direction and exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments

  • Lead special projects and/or participate in training and development efforts.

  • Basic Qualifications:


  • Minimum four (4) years of business/finance experience, with industry experience.

  • Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field

  • License, Certification, Registration

  • N/A

  • Additional Requirements:

  • May consider some combination of education and experience in lieu of years of experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to create meaningful financial reports that are actionable.

  • Familiarity of financial transaction flow within operational and financial systems.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

  • Proven analytical ability.

  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

  • Ability to identify and solve problems.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five (5) plus years of experience in an industry setting.

  • MBA or MSF

  • Demonstrated working knowledge and skills in financial modeling.

  • Demonstrated working knowledge and skills in the principles and practices of accounting which would include a working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

  • Knowledge of health care and insurance industry regulations.
