Description:
Job Summary:

Load requisitions or purchase orders into the Material Management System and place orders with vendors.  Answer the customer phone line and provide customers with product information, order status, order tracing and general information.  Research product and pricing information.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Process daily work, including loading requisitions and purchase orders into the Material System. Keep customers informed of the status of their orders.
  • Place orders with vendors; work past due report and order confirmation report.
  • Provide quality customer service. Develop and maintain good communications.  Receive, interpret, resolve or escalate help desk phone calls and or Matchaudit resolutions. Ensure satisfactory problem resolution.
  • Ensure compliance to Material Purchasing Service Level Agreement.  Maintain Material system date integrity.
  • May be responsible for product returns and or match audit report.
Basic Qualifications:

Experience


  • Minimum one (1) year of general office experience including customer service.

  • Per the National Agreement, current KP Coalition employees have this experience requirement waived.


Education


  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.


License, Certification, Registration


  • N/A



Additional Requirements:


  • Computer skills in a windows environment.

  • General business principles and customer service skills.



Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in health care procurement, materiel management practices and systems.

  • College coursework.
