Organizational Effectiveness Consultant

Provides consulting services for a broad array of organizational areas. Develops organizational strategies and designs to meet current and future demands on the business. Leads and directs large-scale organization change efforts impacting multiple levels of stakeholders throughout the organization. Provides systemic solutions to implement, sustain, and optimize changes across the region and in partnership with KP Programs. Utilizes influence and provides leadership to design and implement solutions, collaborating with a broad network of Organization Development practitioners and business leaders.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provides organization effectiveness consulting services for initiatives within assigned function(s) or region(s).

  • Serves as organization strategy and change consultant and content expert to managers, senior leaders and executives.

  • Develops project structure, approach and work plan.

  • Designs and delivers organization change, organization design, and organization strategy programs and processes.

  • Develops or supports change management strategies and tactics to facilitate effective implementation of organization initiatives.

  • Supports committees and work groups charged with implementing organization, department, or unit level improvement strategies.

  • Creates tools or enhances the toolkit to support the execution of talent and organization programs and processes.

  • Monitors and measures effectiveness of change programs delivered.

  • Meet with L&D and Talent Management managers/consultants to develop, design, facilitate or continuously improve and integrate processes for implementation of Leadership Development, Talent Planning and other programming.  

  • Creates and/or manages online surveys.

  • Basic Qualifications:


  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in organization change, organization design, performance improvement, and/or benefits realization.

  • Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organization Development, Human Resources Management, or related field.

  • License, Certification, Registration

  • N/A

  • Additional Requirements:

  • Experience leading small project teams (up to 10 people) through moderately complex change programs.

  • Working knowledge of/experience with at least one of the following functional areas: information technology, finance, sales and marketing, and operations.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of business operations, management practices and principles, and human resources management trends and practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis.

  • Demonstrated competency in project management.

  • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative date.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement innovative approaches to solution.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Health care or health insurance knowledge preferred.

  • Experience standing up an OD (or similar) internal consulting/service model.

  • Experience managing projects in a high growth market.

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or Organizational Behavior.
