Description:

Performs day-to-day administration of Physician Human Resources practices, policies, and programs covering several or all of the following areas: recruitment, selection, hiring processes; employment record keeping; benefits administration, compensation;Workers' Compensation; and/or regulatory compliance.




Essential Functions:

-
Assists facility leadership with the application and interpretation of TPMG Physician Human Resourcepractices, policies and legal compliance.    

- Assists with the physician recruitment, application, interview,selection, hiring, physician employment contracts and on boarding processes.

- Participates in and mayconduct new physician orientation process.

- Ensures that I-9's are secured and maintained. 

- Accountable forphysician employment record keeping process.

- Ensures that physician contracts are maintained and are up todate.

- Performs local physician workers' compensation tasks and acts as liaison with the Regional TPMGWorkers' Compensation department.   

- Performs local physician benefit and compensation tasks andacts as aliaison with the Regional Benefits and Compensation department.    

- Performs other related Physician HumanResources duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience

Education
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or related field OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration
- N/A.  
 
Additional Requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR related laws and regulations, such as FLSA, ADA, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.   
- Proficient with software used within department.
- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
State and Federal Medical Leaves experience.
