Kaiser Permanente of Washington is currently seeking a fantastic Assistant Nurse Manager - RN to join our amazing Nursing Home Services team based in Seattle, WA on Capitol Hill!

This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position working Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm!

The individual in this role will work in collaboration with the clinical service delivery manager for Nursing Home Services, and will provide day-to-day leadership and management of this 24 hour/7-day per week Nursing Home Services team.

You will have responsibility for developing and supervising staff, and will support overall department administration. The Assistant Manager will manage staffing/scheduling, budget, staff regulatory compliance, ensure daily decisions are consistent with service quality, clinical quality, utilization of resources and fiscal outcomes. You will also assist in the development of departmental policies, act on behalf of the manager, collaborate/coordinate with services across the continuum of care, and will utilize continuous improvement philosophy with departments/staff. You will also ensure NHS quality metrics are met and that practices are consistent with national requirements.

The Assistant Nurse Manager will make administrative decisions and provide direction, supervision and assistance with operational issues for NHS (Nursing Home Services) in the absence of other managers, and will respond to urgent NHS needs during designated hours.

Travel will be local onlyand may involve any of the Puget Sound locations for Kaiser Permanente of Washington.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience as an RN in an acute care hospital.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in supervision or lead/charge in a hospital.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing.
    License, Certification, Registration
  • Current WA state RN license.

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two (2) years of experience in an acute care setting
  • One (1) year of experience in a Medical/Surgery and Telemetry unit
  • Experience with budget management
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to a hospital
