THIS POSTING IS FOR A LICENSED INDEPENDENT CLINICAL
SOCIAL WORKER (LICSW) TO PROVIDE A WIDE RANGE OF INTEGRATED MENTAL HEALTH
SERVICES AS A CORE MEMBER OF THE PRIMARY, SPECIALTY AND URGENT CARE CLINICS AT
THE SEATTLE CAPITOL HILL MEDICAL CENTER. APPLICANTS WITH CRISIS AND/OR
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED AS THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE URGENT
CARE FOR THE MAJORITY OF SHIFT HOURS.
THE LICSW IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING PSYCHOSOCIAL
ASSESSMENTS, DIAGNOSIS OF MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS, BRIEF INTERVENTIONS AND
SHORT-TERM COUNSELING AROUND SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
CONCERNS. THE LICSW COLLABORATES AND CONSULTS WITH THE TEAM AND PATIENT TO
ESTABLISH PATIENT CENTERED PLAN OF CARE. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BRING A
STRONG BEHAVIORAL AND SOCIOECOLOGICAL LENS TO PATIENT CARE AND HAVE
DEMONSTRATED SUCCESS AS PART OF A HIGHLY ADAPTABLE, INTEGRATED TEAM.
