Regular Full Time FTE 1.0 40 hrs per week
Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:30AM - 5:30pm
Only applications with an active Medical Assistant - Certified or Medical Assistant - Certified Interim credential with the Washington Department of Health will be considered.
The Medical Assistant will:
Minimum: High School/GED. Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program.
Preferred: 1 year ambulatory care experience.
Minimum: At time of hire Medical Assistant-Certified credential or Interim Medical Assistant-Certified credential. Washington State Department of Health issued credential. Interim credential expires 1 year from date of issuance. Able to obtain shortly after hire Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
External hires must pass a background check/drug screen. Qualified applicants with arrest and/or conviction records will be considered for employment in a manner consistent with Federal, state and local laws, including but not limited to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
