Kaiser Permanente of Washington is currently seeking a clinic-based Home Infusion Therapy Staff Nurse to join our fantastic Home Infusion Therapy team for our Tacoma Specialty Center clinic in Tacoma, WA!
This is a 1.0 FTE, working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 5:00pm. The individual in this role will need to have some degree of flexibility in order to cover needs most in Tacoma, but also in Silverdale and Olympia, as needed.
Preference is that this individual have experience placing PICC or Midlines and have the ability to access implanted ports, preferably have Home Infusion experience, with preference for CRNI or similar, however this is not required.
Provide nursing care to a defined group of patients, adhering to Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington ambulatory Nursing Care Standards, the Nursing Code of Ethics and Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington policies. Coordinate and facilitate Health Care services for the patient in other segments of the Health Care delivery system. Provide and coordinate nursing care for the patient in collaboration with the Health Care team. The Registered Nurse is an integral member of the Health Care team, overseeing and participating in patient assessment and the formulation and implementation of the care plan.
External hires must pass a background check/drug screen. Qualified applicants with arrest and/or conviction records will be considered for employment in a manner consistent with federal and state laws, as well as applicable local ordinances, including but not limited to the San Francisco and Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinances.
