Description:

Please note, this position is designated as flexible, which means the selected candidate may be required to report to the assigned office in Greensboro, NC at least part of the time each week.

Technical Summary:

Great platforms are invisible-until you realize how much they unlock. This team takes raw cloud capability and turns it into services KP teams can actually use, fast. If you like owning products end to end and seeing them go live in the hands of real users, you'll feel at home here.

The Cloud Platform Engineering team turns cloud platform products into consumable enterprise services. This includes consulting, onboarding, product ownership, automation, release delivery, platform operations, and new service / fearure enablement-with a focus on Azure services, including cloud data, analytics and AI offerings. We enable and support secure, resilient delivery of these capabilities across KP application, analytics, and platform teams, automating self-service consumption so adoption scales.

This director-level position leads that team and is project- and delivery-facing. You'll work across internal KP teams, infrastructure, architecture, security, vendors, and business leaders to translate requirements into stable, supportable solutions and lead them through the full lifecycle-development, testing, release, deployment, adoption, and ongoing support. You'll also own portfolios of technical capabilities and accountability for service operation, including incident, change, and release management, from inception through deprecation.
