Location:
This internship role is scheduled to be flexible. Please be prepared to spend part of your time working remotely and part of your time working from the following location: 6560 Greenwood Plaza Blvd, Englewood, CO 80111.
Department Details:
Our Finance team supports the operational functions and their executive leadership by managing the full planning cycle, including budgeting and forecasting. We provide ad-hoc financial analysis and help inform operational decisions by assessing the financial implications of various options. We also support the development of business cases and evaluate the financial impact of new initiatives. In addition, we conduct regular financial performance reviews with our business partners and serve as their financial liaison and subject-matter experts.
Internship Projects:
Help track forecast assumptions and changes across cycles.
Maintain forecast logs, ensuring inputs from operational functions and executive leadership are captured accurately.
Assist in consolidating forecast submissions across departments.
Build simple trend analyses (e.g. run-rate calculations cross years).
Help reconcile data discrepancies before review discussions.
Track follow-up items from performance reviews.
Help maintain documentation of requests, decisions, and recurring deliverables.

Strong Excel skills: Comfort with formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and building simple trend analyses.
Basic data analysis capability: Ability to interpret data patterns, calculate run-rates, and identify anomalies.
Attention to detail: Be able to reconcile discrepancies, maintaining logs, and tracking assumptions.
Comfort working with structured data: Experience in pulling, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple sources.

- Contributing to a designated project or initiative to meet a KP business objective.

- Learning new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution of business objectives.

- Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- 3.0 GPA or above.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
