Chiropractor - Multiple Locations

Job Summary:
Provide professional chiropractic services through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of clients. Meet the needs of clients and the multi-disciplinary team through communication, coordination, and documentation. Considers how actions or plans will affect members; responds quickly to meet member/patient needs and resolves problems. Position will have the flexibility to cover multiple locations if needed.

Diagnose and treat patients with health problems of the musculoskeletal system and treat the effects of those problems on the nervous system and on general health according to the Doctor of Chiropractic scope of practice.
• Room own patients; take the patients health history; conduct physical, neurological, and orthopedic examinations.
• Treat patients with manual types of therapy or mobilization, soft tissue techniques, and a wide array of exercise for strengthening, core stabilization, flexibility and promotion of range of motion.
• Help patients to regain function, strength and desired activity level to the best of ones ability.
• Communicate effectively with an interdisciplinary team including client, family, physician, referral sources, team members, peers, support staff and management through written and verbal means.
• Facilitate the delivery of age
•related care skills as defined by area patient population.
• Assist in creating a calm and healing environment for clients and staff.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and requirements.
• Provide exemplary customer service; may need to schedule appointments when necessary.
• Prepares treatment rooms for use by cleaning, stocking, and arranging supplies, equipment and instruments. Maintains departmental supplies, equipment and apparatus in a clean, safe and functional condition.
• Demonstrates computer literacy for charting and reviewing in an automated medical record. Works within scope of practice and according to KP policies. Complies with regulatory requirements and standards of care.
• Performs the responsibilities of other departmental personnel, including clerical and reception duties, to maintain efficient departmental operations, as required.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, such as assisting in orienting and training new employees, transporting equipment or patient, stocking shelves, taking inventories, and ordering supplies.
• Successful completion of the NBCE examination.
- • Graduate of a CCE-accredited four-year chiropractic college training program.
- Chiropractor License (Colorado)
- National Provider Identifier
- • Must go through CPMG credentialing approval process.
- • Have no adverse reporting in the national practitioner databank.
- • Keen observation and assessment skills to detect physical abnormalities and know when to refer patients to a physician.
- • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in chiropractic medicine.
- • Chiropractor with experience in an integrated clinic or healthcare setting preferred.
- • Public Speaking ability strongly preferred.
- • Bachelors degree preferred.
