Digital Content Creation Specialist IV
In addition to the responsibilities listed above, this position is also responsible for contributing to the planning, creation, and editing of digital content for digital experiences across channels by determining and executing the generation and documentation of digital content (e.g., editorial, educational, videos, icons, illustrations, infographics) for KP products, applications, and architectures; enacting strategies when applying KP brand standards, KP editorial style, Associate Press style, legal requirements, accessibility, and web and application user interface (UI) best practices to moderately complex digital content development, and mentors others; collaborating with internal stakeholders (e.g., clinical, legal, regulatory, marketing, business/product) to convert key messages into approved content for distribution, with review upon completion; and applying advanced knowledge when developing creative brief templates and consulting with moderate impact clients to create the agreed upon deliverable.

- Completes work assignments autonomously and supports business-specific projects by applying expertise in subject area and business knowledge to generate creative solutions; encourages team members to adapt to and follow all procedures and policies. - Contributes to digital content governance efforts by: independently synthesizing content for documenting and evolving the enterprise content standards and best practices; providing consultation and guidance regarding standard to moderately complex project-level content to ensure adherence to the enterprise content standards; developing an advanced knowledge of a respective functional area (e.g., taxonomy, asset management, domains, search engine optimization (SEO), brand, editorial) to enhance program performance and execution; guiding others to and comprehensively integrating processes, resources, and interactions needed to effectively develop, produce, and maintain digital content throughout the content lifecycle; and independently utilizing industry-standard tools to monitor adherence and manage the moderately complex execution of the respective enterprise content standards.
- Supports efforts to manage content lifecycle and deliver efficient and scalable digital content experiences by: executing, reviewing, and improving useful and usable content (e.g., User Experience (UX), editorial, product) strategies across channels; applying and troubleshooting the application of authoring or content templates to standardize digital products; performing routine to moderately complex analyses on content performance data to inform strategy insights and optimizations across channels (e.g., adapting content for context and channel); planning, executing, and organizing content audits, hierarchies, journey maps, and other digital product artifacts to inform content and product decisions; leveraging and analyzing moderately complex lifecycle management practices to inform content strategies, guiding others to do the same; using a comprehensive foundational knowledge of digital content creation processes and standards (e.g., enterprise brand and editorial standards, legal/contractual requirements, best practices) to suggest standard and nonstandard revisions and/or improvement; applying advanced strategies for effectively managing multiple iterations of content for prototypes, including content in authoring templates when working with end-to-end content development workflows; designing and mentoring others to design moderately complex dynamic personalized content experiences; reviewing, updating, and improving portfolios and/or large content areas and reviewing and ensuring accurate identification of needs for current state, including conducting content inventory, evaluating content analytics, and defining metrics and calls-to-action; and modeling engagement and building relationships with internal customers and junior colleagues to inform digital content.
- Facilitates the digital production of content by: applying advanced strategies when building, creating, managing, releasing, and/or publishing content within the content management system(s); independently executing workflow tasks and overall processes to ensure optimal performance while also troubleshooting problems; reporting and resolving moderately complex production content incidents in a timely manner throughout the publication process and post-production; requesting defect fixes, enhancements, and maintenance changes within content management systems and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) independently; planning for, executing, and ensuring the identification of appropriate processes, tasks, and stakeholders for each content initiative to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of digital content; leading proactive communication with engineering and content architecture teams to ensure moderately complex content management strategy aligns with best practices; and triaging, and if possible, resolving routine to moderately complex defects logged by quality assurance teams or escalating to senior team members.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
- Bachelors degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, Public Health, Life Sciences, Business, or related field AND minimum five (5) years of experience in User Experience, Content Management, Technical Architecture, Content Management System (CMS) Engineering, or a directly related field OR Minimum eight (8) years of experience in User Experience (UX), Content Management, Project Management, Technical Architecture, Content Management System (CMS) Engineering or a directly related field.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Quality Assurance Process; Content Management Systems
- Master's Degree, or equivalent, or higher in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences or related field.
