Project Description:

Category Management: provide market analysis, strategy, and recommendations for contracted sourcing of specific categories of goods and services in the health care environment

Supply Chain Operations: work with supply chain leaders in helping to improve efficiency and costs associated with distributing medical equipment to clinical settings

Procurement: support work that has impact on inventory demand planning, medical equipment implementation, vendor relations, and financial planning and analysis within the supply chain organization

Desired Skillsets:

Market Research & Analysis - ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize supply-market data.

Financial & Cost Analysis - comfort with comparing pricing structures, TCO, and ROI for sourcing decisions.

Strategic Thinking - can evaluate multiple sourcing options and develop recommendations based on evidence.

Data Visualization - ability to present insights in a clear, compelling way (Excel, Power BI, etc.).

Communication & Presentation - can translate complex findings into concise recommendations.

Contract/Sourcing Familiarity - basic understanding of contract terms, vendor evaluation, and RFP processes.

Process Mapping & Improvement - understanding workflows and identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies.

Operational Analysis - ability to evaluate time, cost, and resource data to find improvement opportunities.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement - comfortable working with clinical teams, warehouse staff, and leaders.

Problem-Solving - can break down operational challenges and propose realistic solutions.

Attention to Detail - ensures accuracy in equipment-tracking, logistics considerations, and workflow steps.

Basic Knowledge of Logistics - understanding distribution, inventory flow, and medical equipment handling.
