Job Summary:

The Integration & Execution leader oversees the operational alignment of programs and projects - responsible for executing to impact against the organizational strategy, setting project management standards, monitoring portfolio performance, supporting change management, planning resource allocation for efficiency, leading health plan integration post-acquisition, collaborating with cross-functional teams and National Communications to enhance employee engagement, and promoting leadership development while managing position control and facilitating change management in line with National Health Plan-s (NHP) Focused Agenda.This leader brings together enterprise stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of the operational strategy, people, processes and systems, are fully aligned-from project intake to execution-ensuring scalability, accountability, and clarity across business functions.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Integration & Execution
  • Develop and manage the operational framework and strategic plan to execute key initiatives across functions, ensuring alignment with deliverables, goals, and objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end integration efforts for newly acquired health plans, from due diligence through post-acquisition implementation.
  • Develop, manage, and evolve a comprehensive integration and execution framework that connects strategy with results.
  • Project & Portfolio Management
  • Lead the Project Management Office (PMO), establishing enterprise-wide standards, governance, tools, and best practices.
  • Monitor initiative performance across the portfolio to ensure on-time, on-budget, and in-scope delivery.
  • Develop and implement planning, prioritization, and resource allocation processes to maximize impact and efficiency.
  • Change Management & Organizational Readiness
  • Build and implement change management strategies to ensure readiness, engagement, and adoption across the organization.
  • Partner with HR, Communications, and functional leaders to support transitions tied to acquisitions, restructures, and strategic pivots.
  • Strategic Communications & Thought Leadership
  • Collaborate with National Communications to enhance employee engagement and promote strategic transparency across the enterprise.
  • Drive internal messaging, playbooks, and town hall strategies that support organizational alignment and momentum.
  • Serve as a visible thought leader on execution discipline and organizational agility.
  • Leadership Development & Resource Management
  • Partner with HR to embed leadership development efforts into execution and integration initiatives.
  • Manage workforce planning to ensure alignment to budget, targets, structure, roles, and talent to enterprise needs.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience

  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in program/project management, strategic execution, operations, or post-merger integration-preferably in healthcare or insurance, with proven leadership in managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Education

  • Master-s degree in business administration, public health administration, operations, or a related field OR two (2) years of additional work experience with a bachelor-s degree.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience within large health care delivery organizations including integrated care delivery systems.
  • Background in managing PMO structures in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Ability to work effectively in matrixed environments, managing competing priorities and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Deep understanding of organizational development, project management methodologies (PMP, Agile, Lean), and healthcare transformation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, with a track record of cross-functional influence and team development.
  • Strong command of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
  • Expertise in strategic communications and executive-level reporting.
  • High business acumen, with a focus on outcomes, accountability, and performance metrics.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Kaiser Permanente-s mission, organizational structure, strategy, distinctive features, and value proposition.
