Job Summary:

Under immediate supervision, cooks food to order on the cafeteria grill; rethermalizes food for cafeteria consumption and performs other related functions.

Essential Responsibilities:

Cooks food to order such as hamburgers, eggs and grilled cheese sandwiches on the cafeteria grill during a designated meal period and according to a predetermined menu. Assists cook in preparing food for patients, cafeteria patrons and catered events by such duties as defrosting food, preparing salads, vegetables, rice and other items on the menu for that day. Serves food to cafeteria patrons in accordance with established serving procedures. Delivers requested items to physicians dinning room.
