Department Description:

The Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB) analytics team conducts membership analyses and forecasts, and supports departmental functions such as strategy, planning, product, pricing, marketing, and compliance.

Project Description:

Generate monthly membership reports with performance insights and ad hoc growth drivers analyses for leadership. Streamline reporting workflows by identifying inefficiencies and implementing automation.

Desired Majors:

Math, Statistics, or Data Science

Desired Skillsets:

Programming experience using R or Python, experience working with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), experience with SQL and relational databases, experience with workflow automation tools (e.g. Power Automate).

  • Contributing to a designated project or initiative to meet a KP business objective.

  • Project management - planning, execution, and measurement.
  • Learning new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution of business objectives.

  • Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • 3.0 GPA or above
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
