Digital Content Specialist III - (Health Information)
Participates in digital content governance efforts by leveraging a comprehensive foundational knowledge of the processes, resources, and interactions needed to effectively develop, produce, and maintain digital content throughout the content lifecycle, while ensuring all digital content adheres to enterprise content standards and best practices. Facilitates efforts to manage the content lifecycle and deliver efficient and scalable digital content experiences by executing the end-to-end content development workflows and monitoring and managing portfolios and/or large content areas. Engages in the digital production of content by applying general strategies for building, creating, managing, and publishing content within the content management system (CMS).

- Contributes to digital content governance efforts by: independently documenting and evolving the enterprise content standards and best practices; providing consultation and guidance regarding routine and non-routine project-level content to ensure adherence to the enterprise content standards; developing a comprehensive foundational knowledge of a respective functional area (e.g., taxonomy, asset management, domains, search engine optimization (SEO), brand, editorial) to support program performance and execution; exercising judgement and discretion when leveraging processes, resources, and interactions needed to effectively develop, produce, and maintain digital content throughout the content lifecycle; and independently utilizing industry-standard tools to monitor adherence and manage the standard and nonstandard execution of the respective enterprise content standards.
- Supports efforts to manage content lifecycle and deliver efficient and scalable digital content experiences by: executing useful and usable content (e.g., User Experience (UX), editorial, product) strategies across channels; leveraging a comprehensive foundational knowledge of how authoring or content templates are used to standardize digital products; performing routine and ad-hoc analyses on content performance data to inform strategy insights and optimizations across channels (e.g., adapting content for context and channel); planning and executing content audits, hierarchies, journey maps, and other digital product artifacts to inform content and product decisions; independently leveraging and analyzing routine and nonroutine lifecycle management practices to inform content strategies; using a comprehensive foundational knowledge of digital content creation processes and standards (e.g., enterprise brand and editorial standards, legal/contractual requirements, best practices) to develop digital content strategies for stakeholder projects; applying and improving general strategies for effectively managing multiple iterations of content for prototypes, including content in authoring templates when working with end-to-end content development workflows; designing and occasionally guiding others to design routine and non-routine dynamic personalized content experiences; monitoring and maintaining portfolios and/or large content areas and identifying needs for current state, including conducting content inventory, evaluating content analytics, and defining metrics and calls-to-action; and independently planning for and engaging in relationship building with internal customers to inform digital content.
- Facilitates the digital production of content by: applying general strategies when building, creating, managing, releasing, and/or publishing content within the content management system(s); independently executing workflow tasks and overall processes to ensure optimal performance while also reporting potential problems; reporting production content incidents in a timely manner throughout the publication process and post-production; requesting defect fixes, enhancements, and maintenance changes within content management systems and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) with occasional guidance; planning for and executing individual tasks towards the identification of appropriate processes, tasks, and stakeholders for each content initiative to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of digital content; proactively communicating with engineering and content architecture teams to ensure content management strategy aligns with best practices; and triaging, and if possible, resolving routine or nonroutine defects logged by quality assurance teams or escalating to senior team members.

- Associates degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, Public Health, Life Sciences, Business, or related field AND minimum four (4) years of experience in a directly related field OR Minimum five (5) years of experience in User Experience (UX), Content Management, Project Management, Technical Architecture, Content Management System (CMS) Engineering or a directly related field.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent certification.
