Member Communications Bachelor's Intern

Location:
This internship role is scheduled to be flexible. Please be prepared to spend part of your time working remotely and part of your time working at the following address: 4460 Hacienda Dr, Pleasanton, CA 94588.
Department Details:
Member Communications department handles interaction with Kaiser's current and prospective members regarding their Health Plan queries.
Internship Projects:
The position will be responsible for detailed research of latest tools including Artificial Intelligence to improve speed, accuracy and experience for Kaiser's internal staff as well as its members.
Target Majors:
Computer Science; Math/Statistics; Data Science
Target Skillset:
Programming Languages experience like Python.
Good understanding of AI/ML fundamentals.
Knowledge and project experience using Off the shelf and Customized AI/ML tools.
Data Handling - Data preprocessing and cleaning. Working with structured and unstructured data
Basics of AWS, Azure, or GCP

Essential Responsibilities:

- Pursuing a bachelors degree or have graduated with a Bachelors degree from an accredited university within the last year.

- Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- 3.0 GPA or above
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
