Department Clerk II
Under general supervision, provides a variety of complex clerical tasks; types reports & correspondence; maintains departmental files; answers telephones & responds to routine inquiries; photocopies & distributes memos, reports & other material; may prepare bi-weekly payroll.

- Types & photocopies a variety of complex departmental reports, correspondence & other departmental documents
- Maintains department records & filing system
- Provides reception for the department
- Answers telephone & respond to routine inquiries
- Requisitions & maintains established levels of office supplies
- Opens, sorts & distributes mail
- Prepares & types a variety of statistical reports
- Prepares bi-weekly payroll
- Establishes & maintains courteous, cooperative relations when interacting w/ other personnel, members & the public
- Performs other related duties as required
- Promotes, ensures & improves customer service to internal/external customers by demonstrating skills which are consistent w/ the organizations philosophy of providing extraordinary customer relations & quality service
- One (1) year clerical experience required
- Typing 45 wpm
- All testing must be completed by the end of the posting period

Notes:
- Schedule to include all shifts, rotating weekends, holidays, and floating within the established seniority section.
- This is a temporary position for approximately three (3) months.
