Essential Responsibilities:


  • This first year of supervised residency training (internship year) will enable the Resident I to meet their educational goals and objectives defined within their specialty requirements.

  • The Resident I will actively participate in the care of patients and assume progressively more responsibility as they advance in their training and medical knowledge.

  • The Resident I will acquire the knowledge and special skills of their respective disciplines while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety in the delivery of patient care services.

Experience

Must have applied and matched to KPNC residency program through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) or Central Application Service for Podiatric Residencies (CASPR) or have been selected for an unfilled position after the match. Applicant must have a medical or podiatric degree (MD, DO, DPM) before the beginning of the residency training program.
