Job Summary:

Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products as required


Essential Responsibilities:
  • Receives, unloads supplies, material and equipment. Unpacks items received and verifies accuracy of shipment. Delivers supplies and equipment and obtains appropriate signatures from receiving department. Maintains a clean and orderly work place. May use forklifts, hand trucks, panel trucks and other equipment. Uses automated and manual systems in the above processes. Performs other related duties as necessary. This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience

  • Minimum six (6) months experience.
  • Per the National Agreement, current KP Coalition employees have this experience requirement waived.
Education

  • High School Diploma/GED
License, Certification, Registration
  • Driver's License (California)
Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other incumbents of the organization.
  • Also refer to Position Specifications outlined in the appropriate collective bargaining agreement.
  • Must be willing to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment.
