Job Summary:

Under close supervision, performs variety of minor repair and maintenance tasks to provide a safe environment for patients and staff.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assemble/repair equipment furniture and shelving. Replace drawer glides, drawer handles, and hinges.
  • Move furniture and equipment
  • Remove/install wall-mounted signs, dispensers, and holders
  • Replace ceiling tiles
  • Change light bulbs
  • Adjust door hardware
  • Assist with minor plumbing repairs
  • Assist with minor repair of non-medical equipment
  • Assist in preventive/corrective maintenance tasks
  • Change water filters
  • Repair of manual window blinds, privacy curtain track mechanisms
  • Adjust thermostats for customer comfort level
  • Clean mechanical and electrical areas including machinery and filters
  • Assist with transport needs upon request using company vehicle

  • High school diploma; or equivalent combination (lesser) and experience may be considered in lieu of requirements.
