This internship role is scheduled to be flexible. Please be prepared to spend part of your time working remotely and part of your time working at the following address: One Kaiser Plaza, Oakland, 94612.

Department Details:

National Communications advances the mission and strategy of Kaiser Permanente by promoting and protecting our brand and reputation, aligning and activating our people, and engaging with key stakeholders. Our team is responsible for internal and external communications, corporate brand and reputation, media relations, issues management, executive communications, and digital and social media.  Associates that join National Communications have an exciting opportunity to rotate-to different teams in the department, gaining hands-on experience that will position them for a successful career in the field of communications.

Internship Projects:

Support the development and/or implementing of complex communication plans with guidance from senior colleagues by working with clients and stakeholders to identify business objectives, key performance indicators, and communications requirements.  Essential Responsibilities:
-    Contributing to a designated project or initiative to meet a KP business objective.
-    Report development and analytics.
-    Project management - planning, execution, and measurement.
-    Contributing to strategic communications plans
-    Job shadowing in other functional areas.
