Description:
Job Summary:

Under general supervision, safely and responsibly drives the Mobile Health Vehicle to and from its home location to a wide variety of locations throughout the Metro Atlanta Region. Assumes responsibility for monitoring and ensuring the upkeep of maintenance on the vehicle and schedules servicing when required. Performs proper set-up and breakdown of vehicle at all events to service patients safely. Assumes Patient Service Representative duties including checking members/non-members in at events, assisting patients in obtaining medical services, scheduling patients for medical appointments and assisting with survey data. When not working on the vehicle, performs various duties at Regional office/ Medical Office and performs site visits for future events.

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Primary driver of the Mobile Health Vehicle to and from events, set-up, take down after event and return vehicle to designated facility at end of event.

  • Monitor patient flow and interact with patients to check in both members and non-members and assist with form completion (sign-in sheet, vaccine information sheets, privacy documentation and immunization forms, etc.).

  • Schedule appointments, assist with kp.org registration, request survey completion and other assigned duties during the event.

  • Collect and report all documents after each event to Regional Office (summary sheets, consent forms, etc.)

  • Complete end of day procedure: park vehicle, return key, contact cleaning services, etc.

  • Operate onboard generator, septic and power, all electronic equipment (computer, printer, iPhone, and iPad).

  • Perform daily vehicle safety checks and capture in tracking log.

  • Maintain, check, and report vehicle equipment for malfunction and/or damage.

  • Maintain and file mileage, gas card, and waste receipts.

  • Reorder and restock supplies for the vehicle.

  • Perform fundamental IT trouble shooting and vehicle maintenance issues when required.

  • Ensure vehicle is refueled and upkeep of waste/freshwater tanks and disposes of when necessary.

  • Provide excellent customer service for patients, employers, and staff.

  • Perform administrative duties/ project work as assigned.

  • Conduct site visits for events.

  • Collect and return vaccines before and after event

  • Ensure monthly scheduled maintenance of vehicle, including maintenance service and tracking.

  • Assist with initial problem identification and solution under the direction of a higher-level resource.

  • Attend department meetings as directed.

  • Assist with other department projects.

  • Assist at the medical office as and when required.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience


  • Minimum one (1) year of recent experience in customer service.

  • Minimum two (2) years truck driving experience.

Education

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration
  • Class B CDL with Air Brake Endorsement (in the state where care is provided)
Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge go the DOT rules and regulation for state of Georgia
  • Good physical condition
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Dependable and a team player.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good decision-making skills and attention to details.
  • Ability to act independently and problem solve when vehicle issues arise.
  • No more than (1) moving violation or three (3) points on driver license per year.
  • Start and end times vary, able to work some Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Knowledge of computer software applications.
  • Complete a Customer Service Assessment.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Twenty-one (21) years old (required by our insurance company).
  • One (1) year of experience in mobile vehicle management.
  • Medical terminology, Bilingual, English and Spanish.
  • CPR.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
