2024 Summer Internship



Location:


This role is scheduled to be 100% remote. While remote, finalists MUST reside in one of the following states to be eligible for employment with Kaiser Permanente: CA, OR, WA, HI, CO, GA, MD, VA, CT, DC, or IL.



Department Description:


National Sales Engagement Solutions (NSES) is a shared service responsible for delivering long-term, OneKP sales and engagement strategies.  This includes people, process and technology to drive sustainable growth for all lines of business served by the NSES.   



Internship Project(s):


Support the implementation of various projects for the Sales Capability Planning & Enablement Team. These projects are strategic initiatives aimed at the seamless implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions to propel and enhance business outcomes within our organization. As the Project Manager, your role will be pivotal in orchestrating the successful integration of these technologies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering tangible benefits across various departments.


Project Objectives:


Identification of Technological Solutions:
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis to identify innovative technologies that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
 - Evaluate potential solutions based on their scalability, compatibility, and potential to drive business growth.


Customization and Integration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor selected technologies to meet the unique needs of different departments.
- Project manage the seamless integration of these technologies into existing systems, minimizing disruption and optimizing efficiency.


Change Management and Training:
- Support the development a robust change management plan to facilitate a smooth transition to the new technological landscape.
- Coordinate training programs to ensure that employees at all levels are proficient in utilizing the new solutions effectively.


Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Work with leadership to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of the implemented technologies on business outcomes.
- Continuously monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for optimization and improvement.


Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain transparent and open communication channels with stakeholders at all levels.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Additional Requirements:

  • Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3.0 GPA or above.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
